Solicitation of Membership/Donations
The Sister City Association of Huntington Beach is a people-to-people
organization. It gives its members and community new avenues of
participation in the exchange of international communications, friendships
and the host to host experience for the citizens of Huntington Beach
and its Sister Cities of Anjo Japan & Waitakere, New Zealand.
Board members serve the association on a volunteer basis, which
minimizes administrative and personnel costs. Donations are used
in the support of its activities. The City of Huntington Beach provides
in kind services to the Association.
We maintain a "Sponsor" list; sponsors are given recognition and
membership privileges. Sponsors include the Waterfront Hilton Hotel
who provides an annual association float in the Huntington Beach,
4th of July parade. Both our student ambassadors and the host students
from both sister cities, who are visiting over the holiday period,
ride on the float. Follow the site menu to spnsors to find more
sponsors.
We request your consideration in becoming a Sponsor. We appreciate
any assistance to the Association that allows us to implement our
objectives of people to people programs.
